This I BelieveJesus Christ is the Son of the Living God! Man must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God! The Bible is the inspired Word of God! God is Faithful, keeps His Promises and is always true to His Word! Jesus Christ is coming again in the clouds to take away the Bride, His Church! Prayer works today! Prayer changes things! Believers should P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens)
What do you believe? It seems like the whole world is in turmoil and things thought solid and dependable are now shown to be transient and extremely weak. People have worked all their lives to have a comfortable life now and after retirement only to find the governments, banks, corporations, and other institutions have been built “upon the sand”. Solutions are being discussed and offered with little positive effect. Where does one turn? What is solid? What can we rely upon or depend upon that will not disappoint or let us down in the end? Ps 119:89 Your word, O LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. 90 Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. NIV Luke 21:33 And though all heaven and earth shall pass away, yet my words remain forever true. TLB
At the end of July the Holy Spirit told me that the month of September was going to be significant for ministry, the Kingdom of God and also the world. I confessed that I had no idea what that meant. I was later surprised at the political upheaval that began on Sept 1st with a number of changes taking place in national political leaders. September 30th and October 1st is known as Rosh Hashanah or the Day of Judgment which is considered the Jewish New Year. The 30 days before Rosh Hashanah is a period of introspection and self-examination. Ten days following New Years is a time of repentance which can change the judgments of Jehovah. This is also a time to seek God’s Favor and Blessings for the New Year. It surely appears that God is doing a work within the earth the past few weeks.
God’s Principles and Spiritual Laws do not change and are not subject to the political or economic climate of the earthly realm. God has His own economy and spiritual “stock market” if you will permit me to say so. We can “invest” into His Kingdom and are guaranteed consistent and overflowing returns for all that we properly spend into His Treasury. Properly understood the widow of Luke 21:2 was making an investment into God’s Treasury when she cast in her two mites. In 1 Kings 17 the widow with her son invested into God’s Kingdom by feeding the prophet Elijah with her last meal and oil. The result was an unending supply of food for the three of them during a terrible drought in the land. God remains the same among us today in the midst of the global economic turmoil.
No Turning Back Now! In praying today my mind went back to the Children of Israel. They had been freed from a long 430 year period of cruel slavery. Yet, as they journeyed toward their promised land many wanted to turn back into Egypt preferring slavery over freedom in return for the luscious food that could be found there. Life in the wilderness was relatively easy. Six days a week they only had to go outside their tents to gather the manna which God delivered to them. Their clothing and shoes did not wear out. The leaders instructed them how to worship God and how to conduct the offering of sacrifices. They moved only when signaled by the cloud or pillar of fire. There was little need for personal decision making.
Finally the Israelites came to the Jordan River. This insignificant stream represented a huge change in their lives. It was the final obstacle separating them from God’s Promised Land. From that day forward the manna stopped. They had to either grow their foods or fight their enemies to take it from them. They soon learned that by entering the Promised Land they stepped into a new realm of what might be called “spiritual warfare”. They had to fight for every foot of ground that they obtained along with each handful of food they ate. I believe we as believers, have entered into a similar time in the Kingdom of God. No more free blessings. Souls truly won for Christ must be prayed for, have the seed of the Word sown into their lives and snatched away for the ruler of the kingdom of darkness. I cannot prove this to you except to say, I feel this in my spirit. Whether this is true or not we know that God is doing a work in this world. We will be carried along with the events of the world if we do not sink our spiritual roots deep into the soil of His Word. If our houses (life and ministry) are built upon the rock we will not be shaken by the winds, storms and floods of this life. Ps 91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. KJV
My Request to You! Keep walking with God! Don’t stop! Don’t turn around! Don’t give up! Keep on praying! Keep on seeking God! Keep on praising and worshiping Him! Keep on sowing and tithing into His Kingdom. Keep on sharing His Love and His Word to all who you come in contact with. Send others to preach where you cannot go. Keep looking up for Jesus is coming again!
1. Please determine to pray daily for Japan, our ministry, the web sites, and finances. 2. Send us your three most important prayer requests so we can stand with you in prayer. 3. Please begin or continue to financially sow into the ripe harvest field of Japan. 4. Please download, print off and distribute the JPN Pledge Cards at your local church, cell group meeting or Sunday School Class. Cut off the left side to keep as a prayer reminder. The right side should be filled out including any prayer requests. That record can be mailed to the same P.O. address as financial donations. 5. For more detailed in formation about financial donations please download and print off the Donor Information Form. This also could be distributed in a service or church meeting. 6. Please bear with us as we work to prepare better quality prayer cards, brochures, and DVD presentations that can be used to share our ministry and vision with you and others. 7. Please keep prayer going up daily. Lev 6:13 The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out. NIV
May God bless you as you pray!
